Numeracy - How to Create Graphs
This is a great way to introduce numeracy into lessons across the curriculum.
It is an introductory lesson Teaching the pupils the concept of variables and three different types of graphs- Bar, Line and Pie Chart .By the end of this lesson pupils will have an understanding of the different types of graphs and when to use them.
This can be split into different sections and used during Form Periods/ Tutor Time as a great numeracy tool.

Pull the udder one! A completely customisable true or False activity. This particular one is based on Human body systems. Pupils love the interaction shouting moo (true) or quacking for false statements. This can be used as a starter, plenary or an AFL checkpoint activity throughout the lesson.
This would be a perfect addition to your escape room session!
You can copy and paste the back to school Crack the Code Generator slide into any presentation you wish or use the slide as a standalone resource.
Click on the spin button to start the generator and the stop button to stop it.
Pupils must use the symbols to create their secret message or you tell the pupils the code you want them to use in order to solve the puzzle. E.g. A=diamond

Differentiated diamond Ranking activity (Higher, middle and lower ability) sheets. This activity is based on 9 of the school subjects for pupils to discuss their personal ideas on subjects whether they be favourites or most important and why.
Christmas Reward Activity. A perfect way to reward your class! Use this as a rewards and incentives tool.
When pupils are well behaved, click the button and add another section to the loading bar. When the bar is full, pupils are rewarded with a makebelieve email to Santa.

This PowerPoint contains 40 different Halloween items and 33 pre-set placemats. We have included a blank placemat for you to create your own if you so wish. We usually laminate the cards so that they can be reused by each class.
Slide 3 contains 40 cards (facedown) click on a card to reveal the picture. Pupils must mark off this picture on their bingo card. The first person to mark off all of their icons is the winner.
